milan-based dimorestudio has created a plush, enchanting interior for luxury retailer, browns, in the heart of london’s affluent mayfair neighborhood. the new flagship boutique is set over four floors within a grade II listed building that dates back to 1720. dimorestudio’s design juxtaposes existing historical features with clean, contemporary lines, all the while embodying the company’s commitment to personal service and the human aspect of physical retail.

It’s not often that new or updated Jeeps are revealed in Europe before the U.S., but count today as one of those days where Europe takes the leading role. The refreshed Jeep Compass is out across the pond, and the changes are rather substantial.

in nagoya, the largest city in the chūbu region of japan, architectural duo nanometer has transformed a 49-year-old rental condominium, into their private residence. the original structure included three large japanese-style rooms, showcasing a distinctive exposed concrete materiality. forming a reimagined ‘osetu-ma’ japanese reception room, as well as a ‘tokono-ma’ japanese alcove, the refurbishment generates a new layout that accommodates the couple, while reconsidering the relationship between these two ‘ma’ (negative/empty spaces).
