42 per cent of BAME interior designers face discrimination, survey says

Two out of five BAME interior designers have faced discrimination at work due to their ethnicity, according to a diversity survey by the British Institute of Interior Design.

Conducted last year, BIID claims its Diversity in Interior Design survey is “the UK’s first-ever survey of diversity in interior design”.

Forty-two per cent of the 109 respondents who identified as Asian, black, mixed or other said they had been a victim of discrimination in their profession or workplace because of their race or ethnicity.

Kelly Bensimon has sold $50M in NYC real estate this year

She’s gone from “The Real Housewives of New York” to selling real houses in New York.

Reality star-turned-real estate broker Kelly Bensimon has done $50 million in Manhattan deals since Jan. 1, The Post has exclusively learned. She joined Douglas Elliman’s Holly Parker Team less than a year ago.

“That’s a lot of very expensive square footage for anyone, especially a newcomer to the business, and the quarter isn’t even over,” said an insider of Bensimon’s recent numbers. “She’s been killing it.”

This Is Our First Look At The Interior Of The All-New Kia K8

Kia released the first official photos of the new K8 in mid-February but failed to show any photos of its interior. Fortunately, we can now get our first look at the car’s cabin thanks to images of a prototype recently spied in Korea.

Much like the exterior, the design of the new K8 is vastly different to the K7 / Cadenza that it replaces. The most obvious change made is the fitment of a massive touchscreen display that encompasses both the gauge cluster and the infotainment screen which sits on top of a redesigned dashboard.

Cleveland, its school district put 19 properties in play, seeking real estate developers’ proposals

A dozen vacant Cleveland schools and seven pieces of surplus land — almost all of them on the East Side — are hitting the market, the subjects of a request for redevelopment plans.

The city and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District are jointly seeking proposals from real estate developers interested in remaking the properties, which the district no longer needs. The portfolio includes six historically and architecturally significant buildings, erected between 1903 and 1939, which are protected as city landmarks.
